Description of the company
Since the company started in 1967, MODELBYG has produced "handmade prototypes" for
the development of new products for many domestic and foreign companies.
The prototypes have enabled these companies to perform different tests prior to the final production, resulting in significant savings in production costs. MODELBYG has an extensive machine park with which most works in acrylic, ABS and other plastic materials can be made. Among the machines MODELBYG has at its disposal are: CNC-milling
machine, CNC-lathe, 3D copy milling and moulding machine, vacuum moulder, powder blowing, lathe, circular saw and various drilling and milling machines. In addition, MODELBYG is able to perform silk printing lacquer and other surface treatments. By means of CAD-CAM, MODELBYG is able to produce prototypes from the formats: DXF, EPS ASCII, STL and IGES. The prototypes are produced from your designs, in close co-operation with you, in regard to materials, tolerances, details etc. Your company´s requirements will, of course, be treated with total confidentiality.
MODELBYG has developed a method for casting of subjects in small 0-series as well as a method for producing sinking erosions from copper.
